How often to clean the house
- Bed linen.
Bacteria commonly found on the sheets is just dust and generally harmless. However, it’s good change sheets once a week or at least every two weeks, then soak with hot water so that the ashes were lost. Read also: How often should I change my bed sheets.
- The sink.
Although it looks clean, the sink can hold a lot of bacteria. Moreover, if you are after the clean up raw meat where the e. Coli and Salmonella must be a lot of nesting. To stay safe, we recommend that you clean your sink every day.
- Sweep and mop the floor.
Carpets should be cleaned every week especially if you have pets to prevent dust, dirt and allergens pile up. So also with the sweep and mop the floor should preferably be done once a week, but for the kitchen floor should be more frequently because bacteria can spread.
- Clean the bathroom.
E. coli can be found in the toilet and the sink. To keep it clean, clean the toilet using disinfectant at least once a week, and a bathtub every two weeks or more if you use it frequently. Bathroom curtains should also be disinfected every week to avoid mold, which can cause irritation of the skin, eyes, and throat in some people.
- Replace the dish washing sponge.
Kitchen sponge can have lots of bacteria, but some of the bacteria is not harmful. Because washing the sponge with soap and water does not really work, try to put it in boiling water for 2 minutes, or put it in the microwave for 2 minutes in a wet conditions every two days and replace it if it is very dirty.
